Terms of service (ToS)

1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using the services provided by California Virtual IOP, including accessing the website at cavirtualiop.com (“Website”) and receiving text messages, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“ToS”) and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing our services.
2. Text messaging (A2P) and communication
A. Description of service
California Virtual IOP uses an A2P messaging service to send text message updates, alerts, and responses to our healthcare customers and prospective customers. These messages primarily cover information about pricing, products, and services offered at cavirtualiop.com, and related customer service communications.
B. Consent
By providing your mobile phone number and opting in to receive text messages (for example by checking a box or submitting a form), you expressly consent to receive automated and non-automated marketing, informational, and transactional text messages from or on behalf of California Virtual IOP at the number you provided. Consent is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services. Message and data rates may apply.
C. Frequency
Message frequency will vary based on your interaction with us and the nature of our updates. We endeavor to limit messages to what is necessary and relevant.
D. Opt-out / STOP
You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Text the word STOP to the number from which you received the messages. We will send a final SMS confirming unsubscription. After that, you will no longer receive SMS messages from that program. If you want to join again, sign up as you did the first time.

3. Privacy and data usage

A. Information collected
We collect personal information, including but not limited to your mobile phone number, email address, name, and other contact information.
B. Purpose and consent
Your personal information is used only for the purposes you explicitly consent to when sharing it with California Virtual IOP. This includes sending text messages as described in Section 2, responding to inquiries, providing information about our services, and fulfilling transactional and customer service requests.
C. Data sharing
We will not share, sell, or rent your mobile phone number or other contact information to unaffiliated third parties for their marketing purposes. We may share information with third-party service providers (for example SMS platforms) only to the extent necessary to operate the services you have requested, and those parties are bound by confidentiality agreements.
4. Changes to the terms of service
California Virtual IOP reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to modify or replace these ToS at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by updating the date at the top of the ToS. Your continued use of the Website or services after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new ToS.
